Jimmy Barnes is in the US dance music top 40 with this reworking of Dragon’s “April Sun in Cuba”. The video is like a dozen animated gifs all strung together. I feel like on some level I should be highly contemptuous of this, but in reality I think it’s fairly bangin’. Though it’s not quite as good as Barnsey’s most danciest attempt at the world of pop 22 years ago, “Lay Down Your Guns”.
